This Webinar- Workplace Rights, is presented by Kathleen Redpath-Perez, Esq. is the Managing Attorney of the Employment Unit for Disability Rights NJ and CAP Coordinator. This program will address workplace discrimination and employees rights. Living with a complex condition often has implications on careers and in the workplace environment. In this presentation you will learn about your rights as an employee and ways to proactively advocate for yourself at work and address discrimination if and when it occurs.

About Kathleen Redpath-Perez: Kathleen began her career as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Pedro J. Jimenez, J.S.C., Criminal Division. Following her clerkship, she spent most of her career as a trial attorney in the Adult Criminal Trial Region of the Office of the Public Defender in Trenton, NJ where she handled complex criminal matters at every stage of the criminal proceeding including jury trial. Kathleen also spent about two years in the Office of Parental Representation of the Office of the Public Defender where she represented parents who lost or were at risk of losing their children, and/or were facing a finding of abuse/neglect in civil proceedings including bench trials. Kathleen joined Disability Rights NJ in October of 2020. Kathleen is an active member of the New Jersey State Bar Association. She is also fluent in Spanish having been born in the Dominican Republic. In her free time, Kathleen likes to spend time with her two children, practice yoga, and bike along the canal.
