Medical Social Worker from the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Paula Azouri Glashausser, will be discussing common challenges with anxiety in women and girls who have Turner Syndrome. You will learn about its effect on your physical, mental, and emotional health. She will also lead the group in discussing stigma associated with mental health and how to seek support, along with healthy coping strategies you can do on your own.
Paula specializes in Pediatric Nephrology and Endocrinology and has since worked with girls and women with Turner Syndrome. Paula works alongside Dr. Michelle Schweiger, who is an expert and very involved in the Turner Syndrome community. She hopes to continue working collaboratively with her team and the Turner Syndrome Foundation to support girls and women diagnosed with Turner Syndrome.
